Dr. Ben Evans, M.D. is a practicing gastroenterologist with Midwest Gastroenterology Associates, located in Louisville, KY. He specializes in therapeutic endoscopy, with a focus on endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatogram (ERCP) and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Evans has participated in numerous studies and their associated publications. Currently, Dr. Evans acts as Chairman of the Endoscopy Committee at Kentucky One Health’s Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He has lectured nationally and is published in several peer-reviewed journals and reference publications.
Dr. Evans received his medical degree from Saint George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, before going on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine followed by fellowships in Gastroenterology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and the University of Florida College of Medicine. He also held a teaching position at the University of Florida, Department of Medicine’s Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
